Drag Baby

Chairing post-show talks and panel discussions that give unmissable insights to audiences is my favourite thing to do. I have a wide variety of events coming up for plays and musicals across London and beyond.

After its sell-out 2022 run at the King’s Head Theatre, Grace Carroll’s “impressive” and “brutally honest” new play Drag Baby returns to London at the Pleasance Theatre.

‘All you have to do is spunk into a little pot. I’m not asking you to do anything hard.’

Dan, a misanthropic drag queen in his mid-thirties, only has one thing on his mind – to get on TV and become famous. That is until Sally, his estranged ex-girlfriend, reappears and asks him to donate sperm so she and her girlfriend can have a baby.

As Dan grapples with this decision, the pair rekindle their friendship, causing a strain in his relationship with drag mentee Nathan.

A hilarious and heart-warming new play about queer friendship and chosen family.

Grace Carroll’s second play follows her critically acclaimed Wet, which played to sold-out audiences at Theatre N16 and Perdu Theatre Amsterdam. It’s directed by Joseph Winer (I F*cked You in My Spaceship) and stars Stephen Cheriton, Nicole Evans, Ché and Amelia Parillon.

Following the 75-minute performance at 8pm on Wednesday 12 June 2024, I’ll talk to Drag Baby‘s writer, director and cast about the show and its themes. Any questions? Join us!
