A Song of Songs

Chairing post-show talks and panel discussions that give unmissable insights to audiences is my favourite thing to do. I have a wide variety of events coming up for plays and musicals across London and beyond.

From an unprecedented collaboration of international artists comes A Song of Songs, the award-winning and critically acclaimed musical theatre experience, now in its London premiere at the Park Theatre.

A Song of Songs tells the story of a young wife in a loveless marriage who discovers she has an unseen admirer. Intrigued, she enters into a mysterious and fervent love affair, finding herself on a dazzling journey of sexual and personal empowerment.

In a new adaptation, the cast of twelve performers and musicians bring this epic, poetical musical theatre to vibrant life, led by the prolific Arab-Israeli actress, writer and composer Ofra Daniel, making her UK stage debut.

A Song of Songs fuses a world music score, Middle Eastern harmonics, dazzling choreography and an inspiring story of passion and awakening. Drawing on influences that span continents and millennia – from ancient feminist eroticism to the sounds of modern European Flamenco, Klezmer and the Middle East.

Daniel is joined in the London cast by Joaquin Pedro Valdes, Matthew Woodyatt, Laurel Dougall, Rebecca Giacopazzi, Shira Kravitz and Ashleigh Schuman, along with musicians Ramon Ruiz, Antonio Romero, Ashley Blasse, Daniel Gouly and Amy Price.
